Raleigh LaxFest Partners With NCLA and Carolina Flight to Bring Women’s Lacrosse to Annual Tournament for 2017

Raleigh, North Carolina – Raleigh LaxFest has partnered with North Carolina Lacrosse Academy (NCLA) and Carolina Flight to bring knowledge and expertise of the women’s game to the 2017 tournament being held November 11-12, 2017.

Raleigh LaxFest, a US Lacrosse Sanctioned event that welcomed 28 men’s teams in 2016, will be adding women’s divisions for 2017. The addition will expand the tournament into the premiere lacrosse tournament in North Carolina. NCLA and Carolina Flight will be recruiting teams to come to the tournament and executing other details of the event specific to the women’s game.

“We are pleased and excited to be partnering with Raleigh LaxFest to bring more women’s lacrosse to the Triangle region,” said Neal Camak, NCLA’s director of women’s programs. “With the growth of lacrosse across the country, it was only a matter of time before a North Carolina event was added to the calendar. Our coaches and organizers are ready and willing to make this event a success.”

Raleigh LaxFest will take place November 11-12, 2017 and will feature 10 men’s divisions and 5 women’s divisions, all in 3rd grade through high school age ranges. Games will take place in Holly Springs across three field locations.
