Q: How do I find out if a program has been canceled due to bad weather?

A: Always check our website first, we will post an announcement on the home page if we are canceling a program. Also, you can call our hotline at 919-303-6068.

 

Q: What do U11, U13, U15 and U19 mean?

A: These are abbreviations used by US Lacrosse that mean Under 11 years old, Under 13 years old, Under 15 years old and Under 19 years old. In order to be eligible for a certain age category, for example U15, a player must not be 15 years of age on or before December 31, 2007 to play on a U15 team in a 2008 tournament.

 

Q: What equipment do I need if I am in the RALLY Youth program?

A: Sticks, mouthguard and protective eyewear.

 

Q: What equipment do I need if I am in the RALLY Boys, SLLIC Middle School Boys or SLLIC High School Boys program?

A: Full protective lacrosse equipment is required at all times (helmet, shoulder/arm pads, gloves, protective cup and mouthguard).

 

Q: What equipment do I need if I am in the RALLY Girls program?

A: Sticks, protective eyewear and mouthguards.

 

Q: Can a player be moved up or down an age group in the RALLY or SLLIC league?

A: This is dependent upon the player's ability, the player's experience and the player's physical size. NCLA wants to provide the most positive and competitive experience for every player. The parent and coach must agree on proper placement, and the NCLA directors will have the final decision.

 

Q: Who do I make my check payable to?

A: NC Lacrosse Academy.

 

Q: Do you give refunds for program fees?

A: We will refund a program fee prior to the program’s first day; there is a $25.00 administrative fee for each refund processed.

 

Q: How are SLLIC teams divided?

A: Players are divided from different high schools, and each player will receive a team schedule.

 

Q: Who are the SLLIC coaches?

A: The coaches consist of former high school or college players, former high school or college coaches, current middle school or high school coaches and former or current lacrosse officials.

 

Q: Will the SLLIC boys games have lacrosse officials?

A: Yes, each game will have at least 2 NCLOA lacrosse officials.

 

Q: Will there be an athletic trainer on site?

A: Yes, there is an athletic trainer on site at every NCLA team event.
