NCLA Expands Girls Programming into South Wake County

Raleigh, North Carolina – North Carolina Lacrosse Academy (NCLA), the longest standing lacrosse training organization in the triangle region, is excited to announce that we will offer recreational lacrosse teams for girls in elementary and middle school age groups, based out of southern Wake County, beginning in the spring of 2019.

NCLA is known for its family friendly, developmentally focused and fun atmosphere, providing lacrosse programs to boys and girls of all ages. The southern Wake County program will offer the same programs to girls ages first grade through eighth grade, in a region of the Triangle that is currently underserved.

The NCLA spring program will provide players the opportunity to get the "full lacrosse" experience by practicing twice a week and playing full-field games against other local teams within our league in a two-game, "play day" format each weekend.

The new program is for beginners, intermediate players and those with advanced experience. All are welcome and encouraged to bring friends to try out the "fastest sport on two feet."

Formal registration opens on November 1, 2018 -- but interested families can pre-register with NCLA on their website to reserve a spot and receive ongoing communications about the program.
